Woman Delivers Baby on a Boat in Flood-Hit Uttar Pradesh
Local administration took cognisance of the matter eventually and sent medical help.

A woman from a village in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh delivered her child on a boat after being stuck in the flooding.
The woman’s husband alleged that even after repeated calls, no ambulance or emergency service came to their rescue. That is when the family had to take a boat and venture out looking for medical assistance. However, the woman delivered the baby in the boat before medical help arrived. Local administration took cognizance of the matter eventually and sent medical help. Thankfully the mother and the child are doing fine.
