Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday had a moment of amnesia when he asked mediapersons who Akhilesh Yadav was. On being reminded by TV reporters, the tall leader from Bihar then paused for a moment and said that the UP Chief Minister was free to go wherever he wished to.

Lalu also took on the Centre over its stand on the Uniform Civil Code, saying that such matters are best left to the religious communities and that no one should tamper with religious principles.

Speaking on surgical strikes, Lalu said that the armed forces must always be held in the highest of regards.
