Assam seems to be in BJP’s kitty at the moment which will put an end to 15 years of Congress rule. A ground report by The Quint, even before the state went to polls, had predicted that Assam would vote for change – and that’s exactly how the story seems to have played out.

To get a sense of the mood amongst the youth in the state The Quint was at the Cotton College in Guwahati. Founded in 1901 it’s the oldest and most prestigious educational institution in the north-east, a good place to get the pulse of the young voters of the state.
