Scholar Partha Chatterjee Lectures Students on ‘Azaadi’ at JNU

The first lecture on ‘Azaadi’ was given by subaltern studies scholar Partha Chatterjee at JNU.

After a series of lectures on nationalism, JNU is now conducting lectures on ‘Azaadi: The Many Meanings of Freedom’. The lectures address the different interpretations of freedom. The series began on 21 March 2016.

The first lecture was given by subaltern studies scholar Partha Chatterjee. He talks about individual and collective freedom.
