The Quint Wins 3 Golds at South Asian Digital Media Awards 2016

Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif to Raise Kashmir Issue at UN

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has raised the Kashmir issue with almost every world leader he has met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session, but with no avail. He has already raised the issue with leaders of the US, Italy, Turkey, UK and Japan among others – and will make it the focal point of his address to the UN General Assembly today.

BCCI Appoint New Selector, India to Play 500th Test

In defiance of the Supreme Court-appointed Lodha committee recommendations, the BCCI named a five-member selection committee headed by former wicketkeeper-batsman MSK Prasad and comprising two members with no Test experience.

Prasad, who was a part of the previous panel as the South Zone representative, replaced Sandeep Patil as chairman of selectors.

Meanwhile, Team India is all set to play its 500th Test on Thursday against New Zealand.
