A woman in Punjab beat her alleged stalkers when they tried to abduct her. According to the police, the two men followed and harassed her over 2-3 days when she would be on her way to drop her child off to school.

“They used to do this every day. Yesterday, they tried to grab my hand and abduct me. I screamed and people gathered around. They caught hold of them and I beat them up. I beat them with my hands and I got injured myself. I want strict action to be taken against them. We found out today that these men have (influential) contacts,” said the complainant.

The police registered a complaint and arrested the two men.
