Around 20 Bharatiya Janata Party MPs from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh may lose their Lok Sabha seats, based on data thrown up by the recently-concluded Assembly elections in the two states.
According to The Economic Times, the BJP lost more than five out of a constant of eight Assembly seats in each of these 20 parliamentary constituencies in Rajasthan and MP. For instance, in Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore’s Lok Sabha constituency of Jaipur (rural), the BJP lost six out of eight Assembly seats in the recent elections.
