With the assembly polls approaching the state of Himachal Pradesh on 9 November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally on at Kangra, on Wednesday.
At his first rally in the state, the Prime Minister said that it was a necessity to save Himachal Pradesh from the Congress regime. He said, “Congress is now become a laughing club.It is time to bid farewell to those who have looted Himachal Pradesh”.
Modi criticised the Congress for flourishing the role of mafias in the state. He said:
The BJP, asserted the prime minister, is set to win back Himachal. “I have worked very hard in Himachal Pradesh. I am well aware of every city and street in the state.”
The BJP has diverted from it’s usual practise and announced it’s Chief Ministerial candidate as Prem Kumar Dhumal.
