PDP Leader Abdul Gani Dies After Being Shot At By Terrorists
Gani was shot at by the militants in Pinglena area of Pulwama district.
On Monday, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) district president in Pulwama, Abdul Gani Dar, was attacked in the south Kashmir district by terrorists. He was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Gani was shot at by the militants in Pinglena area of Pulwama district, 31 kms from Srinagar, in the afternoon, a police official said.
Gani was rushed to the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar after being shot at thrice from close range with an AK assault rifle, leaving him in a critical condition. Two bullets hit him in the chest, and one in the shoulder.
