Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his photo replaced that of Mahatma Gandhi on the Khadi commission’s diaries and calendars, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi said on Monday the PM will now replace Lord Ram in Ramleelas.

Referring to the Khadi and Village Industries Commission’s (KVIC) move to make Modi its brand mascot, Rahul dubbed it a contradiction as the PM himself wore a Rs 15 lakh suit.

The Congress leader, who was speaking at a rally in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, also alleged that the PM worked only for “the 50 biggest industrialists in the country”.
