A small argument broke out on Sunday, 12 May, between Union Minister and BJP leader Maneka Gandhi and her opponent Sonu Singh, who is the Mahagathbandhan candidate from Sultanpur constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

In the video, Maneka Gandhi is seen beckoning Singh, who is flanked by his supporters, and telling him, “Yahan dabangai nahi chalegi (Hooliganism won’t work here).”

Gandhi alleged that Singh’s supporters were intimidating the voters. In response to her allegations, Singh is seen to be asking her what ‘dabangi’ she is accusing him of. His supporters are then seen raising slogans in his support.

But the argument subsided soon enough as both sides walked away.
