Village Sarpanch’s Family Members Assault Female CISF Trainee
The assault took place over an alleged property dispute.
A female CISF trainee was allegedly assaulted by family members of the village chief in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. Sheetal, who is training in Hyderabad, had returned home to Saidpur village, when the Sarpanch’s husband and son allegedly stormed into her house and started misbehaving with her.
The family claims that when Sheetal’s father protested, he too was thrashed by the duo. Speaking to news agency ANI, Pramod accused the police of slapping minor charges against the culprits. He claims that the two accused who were later released by the cops, have threatened his family with dire consequences.
