Harmanpreet Kaur’s parents Sukhjeet Kaur and Harmander Singh Bhullar said that their daughter made them proud after she played a scintillating innings of 171 runs from just 115 balls in the World Cup semi-final against Australia in Derby on Thursday.
India reached their second World Cup final after beating Australia by 36 runs.
When asked about the people behind Harmanpreet’s success, the allrounder’s mother Sukhjeet said that Harmander Singh (father) helped her a lot to become a cricketer.
However, Harmander Singh said that, Harmanpreet’s coach Kamaldeesh Singh Sodhi is the one who should be credited for her success.
