Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s oratory skills have always been his strong suite and 2018 was no different. This year, like preceding years, the occasional lapses in factual accuracy did not hinder his oratorial A-game at public rallies, diasporas and other public events, .
From calling himself a Fakir and a Chowkidaar, to branding the opposition leader (Rahul Gandhi) a Namdaar, Modi had some new terminologies to stick with this year. That, complemented by his love for acronyms, Indian history and dissing his opposition while boasting about his government’s achievements, aptly sums up his oratory journey for the year.
