Delhi NCR Wakes up to Water-Logged Streets After Heavy Rainfall

Heavy thundershowers hit several parts of the National Capital Region during the early hours on Tuesday causing severe water-logging in several parts of Delhi and Gurgaon. Indira Gandhi International Airport, RK Puram, and Teen Murti Bhavan in Delhi and Hero Honda Chowk in Gurgaon were the areas most affected.

Noida also experienced moderate showers around 3 to 4am.

Schools declared a holiday and power-cuts were reported in several areas.

The weather department has predicted light to moderate thunder showers in the city today.
