Delhi Aerocity Staffer Fired For Accusing Manager of Molesting Her

The security manager of Hotel Pride Plaza in Delhi’s Aerocity was caught on camera attempting to molest the woman.

The security manager of Hotel Pride Plaza in New Delhi’s Aerocity was caught on camera attempting to molest a female staffer.

The staff member, who works with the hotel’s guest relations team, said Pawan Dahiya called her to his office on her birthday, 29 July, with the intent of assaulting her, NDTV reported. After her repeated refusal, he can be seen pulling her towards him by the hem of her saree. The incident was caught on a CCTV camera.

The security manager also allegedly tried to drag the woman into his car twice after she left the hotel. The woman alleged Dahiya kept propositioning her to spend the night with him at the hotel.

Hotel authorities have refused to acknowledge the incident, and have also fired the victim without an explanation. The employee who helped her extract the footage was also terminated. The man who assaulted her was suspended from duty.

The victim filed an FIR with the police on 1 August. Dahiya was arrested following the incident.
