In a shocking incident, two young men were tied with ropes, hung upside down, and beaten up after being accused of stealing chairs from a wedding function.

The two men, identified as Raj Kumar Bind and Birbal Bind, were thrashed and publicly humiliated by a group of men – including Mahangu Bind, who hosted the wedding.

The two were set free only after their families paid Rs 3,000 as compensation to the host.

The incident occurred at Sanbarsa village under Nuaon block in Kaimur district. An FIR was registered after the victims were assured of police protection.

So far, one person has been arrested in connection with the case. The rest, including Mahangu are absconding.
