As the Samajwadi Party celebrates its silver jubilee, BSP boss Mayawati has cast doubts about the success of the SP in the coming UP elections.

“Their attempts form a coalition proves they have already accepted their defeat”, she said.

The Samajwadi Party celebrated the silver jubilee of their party on Saturday, after a month long feud within the family, leading to a rift in the party’s politics.

Mayawati said the SP’s aspirations to come to power won’t be fulfilled this time.

No matter how much they try to hide their internal rift, people won’t trust them.

She also criticised the central government on it’s decision to ban NDTV India from airing for one day for its Pathankot terror attack coverage as “undemocratic” in nature.

The government is trying to hide its failures and corruption by muzzling the media.
