When a fire erupted in an apartment after a family member left pancakes unattended on the stove, quick thinking locals banded together and held a sheet so that they could catch the apartment’s occupants when they leaped from the balcony.
Miraculously, no one was seriously injured in the fire, but the three occupants were taken to the hospital for damage caused by smoke inhalation.
