When in October, Geeta came back to India, the Indian government opened Mohammed Ramzan’s file. Fifteen-year-old Ramzan is from Karachi and has been stranded in India for the last 2 years now. Geeta’s return brought hope for Ramzan’s reunion with his mother.

In November, Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, met with Ramzan and promised to reunite him with his mother. Since then, the case hasn’t moved forward.
