It’s turning out to be quite a busy week for the tinsel town peeps. A bunch of the biggest stars - Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar, and Madhavan - met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family. They exchanged notes on possible Indo-Canadian collaborations in the movies and a thrilled Trudeau shared his excitement over meeting SRK and Aamir on Twitter.

SRK also took part in a panel discussion on ‘Media - Shaping the Future and Entertainment’ at the Magnetic Maharashtra Convergence 2018 in Mumbai. Asked if the government should take more steps to protect the freedom of artistes' expression and whether celebrities should come up with their opinions fearlessly, he stressed that actors are not afraid of speaking their mind. Citing the recent controversy over Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, where the Shri Rajput Karni Sena held violent protests demanding ban on the film, but many film stars did not express their opinion, Khan said they simply "ignored such non-constitutional people for a greater reason".

Rani Mukerji on the other hand went back to her alma mater to promote her upcoming flick, Hichki.

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, the two leads of Baaghi 2, chose to make an unconventional entry by landing in a chopper at Mumbai’s Racecourse before the trailer release of their film. The film is said to have an elaborate helicopter sequence, keeping that in mind, the duo made an action-packed entry for their fans. Armed with immense excitement, the duo made its way to the location of the trailer launch.

(The Quint, in association with BitGiving, has launched a crowdfunding campaign for an 8-month-old who was raped in Delhi on 28 January 2018. The baby girl, who we will refer to as 'Chhutki', was allegedly raped by her 28-year-old cousin when her parents were away. She has been discharged from AIIMS hospital after undergoing three surgeries, but needs more medical treatment in order to heal completely. Her parents hail from a low-income group and have stopped going to work so that they can take care of the baby. You can help cover Chhutki's medical expenses and secure her future. Every little bit counts. Click here to donate.)
