Situation on Sunday continued to remain tense in several parts of Haryana, which was hit by Jat quota stir after it turned violent even as security personnel staged flag marches in affected areas.

Over 10 people have been killed and around 150 people have been injured. Even the presence of army has not helped stop arson and looting. The Delhi-Jaipur highway at Rewari has been blocked.

Section 144 has been implied in several parts of Gurgaon. In a big blow, water supplies to Delhi are also expected to be severely hit.

The Delhi government has advised schools to remain shut on 22 February. Gurgaon police has also advised the schools to remain closed on Monday.
