India face Pakistan in a group stage game of the Asian Champions Trophy on Sunday.

Even as players from both teams prepare for the big clash in Malaysia, political tension between the two countries has led some to question India’s participation in the match.

The Indian cricket board has refused to play Pakistan, with the BCCI President Anurag Thakur speaking out firmly against the recent attack on an army camp in Uri. Bollywood media houses have stopped shooting with Pakistani actors or airing Pakistani television shows.

So, when India’s ACT fixture came to light - the biggest question was, why even play Pakistan? However, former skipper Rajpal Singh answered that question for The Quint.
