A section of the Australian media had taken on the Indian captain on behalf of its cricket team, calling him the "leader of snakes" and comparing him to US President Donald Trump.
Kohli however, said these things never mattered to him and that he prefers to work on himself and his game.
The Indian captain also admitted that he isn’t completely fit at the moment and that he would not play the fourth and final Test against Australia if he doesn’t have hundred percent fitness. He said there was a possibility of his right shoulder injury getting aggravated while fielding in the series decider in Dharamsala starting 25 March.
While he didn't confirm that he is out of the fourth and final Test, he maintained that the rules that the team has in place for any unfit player is equally applicable to him.
