In a candid interview with The Quint, All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that they are contesting the Bihar elections from Seemanchal independently. He further said that they do not wish to align with either of the alliances, and represent an independent political voice.

Upon being asked if they would ally with the BJP if the situation arises, he said that AIMIM has never allied with the BJP and don’t see any such arrangement in the foreseeable future.
