Urban climber Alain Robert, better known as the ‘French Spiderman’, scaled an 185 metre (600 foot) high skyscraper in the business district of La Defense, outside Paris on Wednesday. It took him 55 minutes to climb the outside of the Engie skyscraper.

Robert’s other notable climbs include the Empire State Building in New York, the Taipei 101 in Taiwan and the Petronas Towers in Malaysia.

He set a Guinness World Record in 2012 for climbing the 300 metre Aspire Tower in the Qatari capital Doha, in just 1 hour, 33 minutes and 47 seconds. (Inputs: AP)
