The drought in Maharashtra has affected a lot of lives already. Locals from Nanded and Latur have left their homes as there is no water left for them. Shiv Sena Minister Eknath Shinde has made a temporary tent for them in Thane where they can stay till the monsoon arrives.

The minister is also making sure the adults in the camp get work to help provide for their families.
