“Dhadak Looks Like A Frame-by-Frame Copy Of Sairat”

Ishaan: “No, it's not a frame-to-frame copy of Sairat. Please do go to theatres and watch it to find out!”

Janhvi: “I just feel like, I mean it's an adaptation it's not a remake. There are moments that are borrowed but it's from a different perspective.”

There are a few iconic moments, even in <i>Romeo &amp; Juliet.</i> How many times have people recreated the girl in the balcony? And it’s only a negative thing if it’s not fresh or if it’s fake. I think, we’ve tried to be honest about it.

Shahid Kapoor’s brother, Ishaan Khatter and Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor are all set to make a big splash in Bollywood with their film Dhadak. There has been huge buzz around the film and the newcomers are considered to be promising stars.

Dhadak is a romantic drama film directed by Shashank Khaitan, produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios, and stars the two newcomers in lead roles. The film is a remake of the 2016 Marathi film Sairat.
