Several days after New Zealand suffered a strong earthquake and many aftershocks, a cyclist hopped on to his bike to survey the land and estimate the damage done by the quake. He toured the coast of Kaikoura, and recorded visuals that show how the infrastructure has developed cracks and big boulders were proving to be a hindrance on the roads, tunnel-roads and highways.

New Zealand was rattled by a massive earthquake in November 2016, measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale. Kaikoura was one of the towns that lay closest to the epicenter, and was greatly affected.

Massive rockslides occurred as a result of the earthquake and following aftershocks, which became a hindrance in relief efforts.
