BJP MLA OP Sharma Calls Attack on CPI Leader ‘a Natural Act’
BJP MLA OP Sharma has said that the supporters of Afzal Guru, terrorists and Pakistan should go to Pakistan.
While clarifying that the alleged attack on Communist Party of India (CPI) member Ameek Jamai was retaliatory, BJP MLA OP Sharma has said that the supporters of Afzal Guru, terrorists and Pakistan should go to Pakistan.
BJP MLA OP Sharma was caught in the middle of a controversy on Monday as a video showed him thrashing a person named Ameek Jamai of the CPI.
Sharma has claimed that the person was shouting “Pakistan Zindabad” before attacking him on the head and injuring him.
Jamai spoke to ABP Live on Tuesday and denied the allegations of shouting anti-national slogans.
OP Sharma also dared the CPI member to file a police case against him and prove allegations levied against him and let the law take its course.
Delhi Police Commissioner has said that two separate cases have been filed regarding the “minor” incidents that took place on the premises of Patiala House Court on Monday.
Journalists and JNU supporters were also beaten up on Monday by lawyers.
