Anirban Lahiri carded a disappointing two-over 73 to be placed tied 51st after the second round of the golf event at the Rio Olympics. He totalled 147 at the half-way stage after dropping five bogeys and three birdies.

Lahiri had a forgettable second round as his day went from bad to worse. The Asian tour No. 1 dropped four birdies and a long birdie in the front nine to make the turn at three-over.

He again dropped a bogey at the 14th hole before a couple of birdies on the 16th and 18th holes helped him to end the day on a positive note.
