Sony Announces Darth Vader-inspired PS4, Xbox Fans Cringe

Sony’s PS4 joins the Star Wars bandwagon with a new Darth Vader-inspired console. The Xbox fans are NOT amused.

Star Wars Battlefront is getting its own special-edition PlayStation 4.

Sporting the signature Darth Vader design, the special console will be launched on November 17th.

The new console will come along with a Battlefront Deluxe Edition game, as well as a custom DualShock 4 controller inspired by Darth Vader’s chest panel.

The console sports an epic Darth Vader design and launches November 17 alongside the game.

The Star Wars Battlefront Vader PS4 bundle will include the deluxe edition of EA’s Star Wars game as well as a voucher for four downloadable Star Wars games: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter. Boyes said those games will come to PS4 will enhancements like PlayStation Trophy support and improved graphics.

The Star Wars franchise includes 13 films (produced and in production) and a number of games, animated TV series etc. All of which add up to billions of dollars.

Understandably, Xbox fans aren’t too happy and the PS4 fans have another reason to show off.
