Creep Like a Pro on Instagram With the New Pinch-to-Zoom Feature
RIP accidental double taps, you won’t be missed!
Have you accidentally double tapped on an 84-week-old photo of a person while “investigating” their Instagram feed? Or has your mom ever asked you if you could zoom in on a photo that you showed her and she accidentally double tapped it?
Instagram finally listened and introduced a “Pinch-to-Zoom” feature which lets you zoom into photos without taking screenshots of them to see the details more clearly.
This feature has currently been rolled out only onto the iOS version of the app, but will soon come to Android as well.
Now you’ll be able to see what kind of cheese your friend had on the burger that made them caption their picture “food porn”.
You can also zoom in to see that cute puppy you on your feed – which your dad promised but never got for you – and pretend its yours for five glorious seconds.
