When I was younger, I had posters of fancy cars plastered across my room. Back then, I didn’t understand the specifications and, frankly, I didn’t care. Those posters went up because the cars were beautiful.

So, on children’s day, let’s take a look at some car posters that every kid will want in their room (and a little hint for parents looking for gifts).

And just like when I was a kid, I couldn’t decide between them, so this list is no particular order.

1. Lamborghini Countach

The Lamborghini Countach just has to make it to this list. One of the most iconic cars by Lamborghini, its posters quickly found their way to every kid’s wall in the 70s and continue to do so even today.

2. Ferrari Enzo

Right next to the Countach on every wall, gleamed the Enzo Ferrari. Named after Ferrari’s founder Enzo Anselmo, the car will be in every car enthusiast’s list of best designs of all time.

3. The 1964 Ford Mustang

The 1964 Ford Mustang defined everything that the term ‘muscle car’ stands for. The long bonnet and the body lines of this car haven’t found a match to-date. Launched in 1964, the car still manages to rake in millions of dollars at auctions because the number of people who want to own this beauty just keeps on rising.

4. Pagani Huayra

The name means ‘the god of the winds’ and it costs over 1.3 million dollars. It’s got a twin turbo 6-litre V12 engine, can do 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds – and looks like this.

5. Buggati Veyron

If speed is your thing, then this is the car for you. It doesn’t get faster than this. The Veyron holds the record for the fastest mass-produced car for achieving a speed of 431 km/h

With just 5 cars, this list is far from comprehensive. Let us know which cars you think should be a part of this list.
