Ola has associated with Delhi Police and a number of leading pubs in Delhi to campaign against the menace of drunken driving by offering coupons to people for a free ride back home.

As part of “Help Delhi Police” program, Ola has installed digital breathalysers at party hot spots and high footfall areas to help patrons ascertain if their blood alcohol level is within the prescribed limits. According to the company, within a week over a 1000 people have already benefited from this service.

Safe roads are a priority for us and instances like drunken driving not only lead to loss of human life and property, but also bring tremendous pressure on the system to curb these issues. While we are doing a lot from our end to curb drunken driving in Delhi; initiatives like these will go a long way in making our roads and cities safer.
