Ola has associated with Delhi Police and a number of leading pubs in Delhi to campaign against the menace of drunken driving by offering coupons to people for a free ride back home.
As part of “Help Delhi Police” program, Ola has installed digital breathalysers at party hot spots and high footfall areas to help patrons ascertain if their blood alcohol level is within the prescribed limits. According to the company, within a week over a 1000 people have already benefited from this service.
The company will have booths placed outside these hotspots which not only allows people to do a breathalyser test but also will encourage them to take a ride if they are not in a condition to drive. Coupons worth Rs 150-300 will also be offered.
