After landing in Australia, the Men in Blue have dived into the practice sessions ahead of their all-important tour Down Under. And on Monday, 19 November, the Indian team had a special guest during their nets – Adam Gilchrist. The former Australian captain and wicketkeeper-batsman was spotted interacting with Virat and co.

This is the overseas campaign that captain Virat Kohli has been talking about all year, selectors have been trying to get the perfect combination for, and also the one that won’t feature MS Dhoni in the T20 squad.

Eyeing a maiden Test series win Down Under, the Indian cricket team will be playing four matches in whites, three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals.

The tour kicks off at the Gabba in Brisbane on 21 November, when India play Australia in the first of three T20Is.

‘Exciting Challenges Ahead’

The Indian squad, who departed for Australia on Friday, 16 November, also took to social media to share their feelings about the tour with chinaman Kuldeep Yadav terming it an "exciting challenge".

"Taking off to head down under," wrote Krunal Pandya on the micro blogging site as he posted snaps with team mates. Pacer Jasprit Bumrah tweeted his picture and wrote, "Off we go! #Australia #Travelbound".
