As Pakistan is set to face England after a crushing defeat to West Indies, former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar in an "inspiring" post, shared a photo-collage of Pakistani legends – showing the country's greatest.

Akhtar in the twitter post tagged current Pakistani players Wahab Riaz and Hassan Ali and attached a photo-collage of him along with legends such as Imran Khan, Waseem Akram and Waqar Younis in order to motivate them.

"This is for you... Get inspired, show the fire in you," the post read.

This isn’t the first time that the 43 -year-old took to social media to motivate Pakistani team.

Prior to their opening game, Akhtar had posted a photo of him with former English skipper, Kevin Pietersen with a caption reading, “Blood, sweat, aggression, racing heartbeat, badmaashi. This is whats required when you represent your country. This star on your chest is your pride guys. Tagra khelo. Go get them. Larr jao.”

Pakistan are aiming for a comeback when they take on host of 2019 World World Cup, England in their second match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on 3 June.

They lost to the Caribbean side by 7 wickets on 31 May.
