Back home after a successful Test series against Australia, Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is now making headlines for his latest post on Instagram.

The 21-year-old became the first Indian wicketkeeper to score a Test century in Australia, during the fourth and final Test at Sydney on 4 January. With this, he set the record for the highest-ever score by an Indian wicketkeeper in away Tests, surpassing MS Dhoni’s 148 against Pakistan in 2006.

Pant has also become the first wicketkeeper from the subcontinent to score over 200 runs and take 20 catches in a Test series.

But now that Dhoni is back keeping the stumps during the ongoing ODI series, Pant is using his time off from national duty to catch up with family and friends. He posted a picture with his mother and sister, and wrote, “Inside the four walls of a place called “Home” is where we get the strength to become everything that we are”.

But it was his latest photo with Isha Negi that has got the internet buzzing. “I just want to make you happy because you are the reason I am so happy,” he wrote in the post.

Negi, who’s a entrepreneur & interior decor designer according to her Instagram bio, too posted the same photo with the caption, “My man, my soulmate, my best friend, the love of my life”.
