153/3 in 16.1 overs and rain stopped Australia’s batting onslaught against India in Brisbane during the opening T20I fixture.

Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis had added 78 runs for the fourth wicket when the groundsmen ran onto the field to cover the pitch and play was called off. Maxwell was batting on 46 off 23 balls while Stoinis smashed 31 off 15.w

Half an hour into the break, New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham took to Twitter to ask why his home broadcaster wasn't showing the match.

By this time though, Neesham had clearly managed a peak at the scoreboard and trolled the spinner by asking, ‘raining sixes?’

Maxwell, Lynn and Stoinis had smashed a collective nine maximums in the Aussie innings before the rain break with eight more balls making it to the boundary line in the form of fours.

Ashwin’s reply though was equally apt as he wrote, ‘we will bat soon enough’, referring to the abilities of the star-studded Indian batting line-up.

The match has been truncated to 17 overs a side and after Australia came out to finish off the 16th over, they posted 158/4.

There were no more sixes in their innings. *Insert fire emoji*
