For a majority part of the year, they share dressing rooms, wear the same blue kits and play on the same Indian team. But for a couple of months every year, the Men in Blue are also divided into eight franchises and pitted against each other during the annual Indian Premier League.

And between all the travelling and playing during the IPL season, the Indian cricketers probably get a handful of times when they can meet and catch up on the latest. And that’s what seemed to be happening before Mumbai Indians’ clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede stadium on Monday, 15 April.
