Mumbai Indians are playing Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, 2 May, a win in which would send the hosts into the playoffs of the Indian Premier League.
And to support her daddy in this important game, Rohit Sharma’s daughter Samaira was present in the stands with mother Ritika.
Mumbai Indians rode on opener Quinton de Kock's valiant knock of 69 (unbeaten) off 58 balls to post 162/5 in 20 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their return fixture.
The Sunrisers need a win to stay in the hunt and their bowlers, led by pacer Khaleel Ahmed (3-42), pegged Mumbai back after Rohit Sharma decided to bat first wrong.
He was ably supported by Afghan spin duo of Rashid Khan (0-21), Mohammed Nabi (1-24) and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (1-29), while Basil Thampi (0-40) had an off day.
