We have all had our fair share of experiences of not being able to arrive at a decision while playing the good ol’ gully cricket. Whether it was deciding if the batsman was out, or whether or not the boundary was indeed a six, such decisions were never made with ease and often led to arguments .
If only everyone were as lucky this cricket fan from Pakistan, who got the ICC to act as a third umpire and settle the dispute.
The ICC shared a video on Wednesday, 23 May, on Twitter, stating that a fan named Hamza had approached them asking the cricket body to make a ruling in a game he played with his friends. And to everyone’s surprise, the ICC actually took time out to make a decision and didn’t ignore the fan’s request.
Cricket fans across the world were touched by this gesture.
