The Tokyo Olympics 2020 officially ended with the closing ceremony on Sunday, 8 August. Wrestler Bajrang Punia who won a bronze medal in thr 65kg category, despite an injured knee, was the flag-bearer of the contingent.

Wrestling is the only sport with to have two medals in Tokyo with Ravi Kumar Dahiya winning the silver medal and Bajrang bagging the bronze.
