Just over a month to go for the start of the 12th season of the Indian Premier League and even as excitement is just about starting to build around the tournament, Netflix has dropped the trailer of their new docu-series “Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians” and got fans waiting for more.

As the title of the series suggests, it’s based around Mumbai Indians, and follows the team, support staff and even the owners as the franchise goes about trying to defend their 2017 title.

One of the backroom scenes show Ishan Kishan being reprimanded by the management. “You are not applying yourself. You are basically being a d***head’, says Paul Chapman, the strength and conditioning coach.

“I’ve got so many opinions, so many people yapping in my ears. What do I take from that?” says skipper Rohit Sharma in the middle of a season where Mumbai won just six matches and finished fifth in the league.

The series on Netflix will launch on 1 March 2019.
