In Stats: Four Indian Players to Watch Out For in U-19 WC Final

India and West Indies take on each other in the final of the 2016 ICC U-19 World Cup final on Sunday. While the men in blue have several talented players in their ranks, there are few who have the X-Factor and are capable of winning the match single-handedly.
The Quint profiles four such key players from the Indian side.
1. Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant is the only Indian batsman to score a century in the World Cup so far. He has had two stand out performances in the tournament which include a 24-ball 78 against Nepal and 111 against Namibia. Pant holds the record of fastest fifty in U-19 World Cups.
2. Sarfaraz Khan
Sarfaraz Khan is India’s highest run scorer in the competition. The 74 against Ireland was his stand-out performance in the tournament. He also holds the record of most runs scored by an Indian in U-19 World Cups.
3. Anmolpreet Singh
Anmolpreet Singh, who scored 1154 runs in 9 matches in the Cooch Behar Trophy (Indian domestic competition for the U-19 age-group) in 2014-15 will be the all-rounder to watch out for in the final. Singh’s stand-out performance has been 41 and 3/27 against Namibia.
4. Avesh Khan
The early striker Avesh Khan has taken 11 wickets in the tournament so far. Nine of Avesh’s 12 wickets in the U-19 World Cup 2016 have been of batsmen in single-digits. Figures of 4/32 against New Zealand has been his stand-out performance so far.
