England beat India at Lord's by an innings and 159 runs in the second test to take a 2-0 lead Sunday in the five-match series.

India was all out for 130 in its second innings, barely improving on 107 in the first. England had earlier declared on 396-7 — with Woakes 137 not out, his first test century — during the opening session of the fourth day.

“I’m not very proud of the way we played. To be honest, this is the first time in the last 5 Test matches that we have been outplayed and the credit has to go to England. They were clinical with the ball, the bat and the field as well. When a team plays like that, they deserve to be on the winning side. We deserved to lose this game purely because of the way we went about things and the way we executed them,” said Indian skipper after the loss.

Away from Lord’s and on social media, former India cricketers minced no words in criticising the Indian Team for another poor show in whites.

And there were – of course– the trolls sitting ready with their memes and mean ones.
