Just hours after India bagged the 5 match ODI series against Australia 3-0 in Indore, the BCCI sent a press release with the squad for the remaining two tests.

Just the one change has been made to the squad in Indore with left-arm spinner Axar Patel returning in place of Ravindra Jadeja.

Patel had twisted his ankle before the series-opener in Chennai, therefore, the selectors had included Jadeja in the 15-man squad as a cover. Jadeja himself, along with Ravichandran Ashwin, are said to have been “rested” by the Indian selectors, keeping in mind the long season the Indian team have ahead - both home and away.

India however have already bagged the five match series with skipper Virat Kohli announcing at the post-match ceremony in Indore that there will be a few changes in the side in the coming matches.

The fourth match will be played in Bengaluru on September 28 while the ODI series will conclude in Nagpur on October 1.

India Squad: Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma (vice- captain), KL Rahul, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Ajinkya Rahane, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Axar Patel.
