The Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team landed in Dharamsala for the deciding Test of the four-match series against Australia, starting 25 March.

The favourites in the tournament witnessed a setback in Pune with a massive 333-run loss against the Aussies. However, the men in blue came back strong with a 75-run victory in the second Test in Bengaluru.

After the third Test in Ranchi ended in a draw, the Dharamsala Test will decide the winner of the Australian Tour of India.

Mohammed Shami, who wasn’t named in the squad for the last two Tests, too has landed in Dharamsala. Skipper Virat Kohli did not rule out the chances of Shami playing the last match.

We sent him to play the Vijay Hazare Trophy to get some match practice. Haven’t spoken to the selectors, but all kinds of possibilities are there as we approach the next Test.

Shami had undergone surgery to recuperate from a career-threatening knee injury and did not find a place in the Indian squad for the Australia series.
