India held on to their number one position in the ICC Test rankings after the end of the India-Australia and New Zealand-South Africa Test series, but star batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli slipped to number four and five in the Test rankings for batsmen.

Kane Williamson, who scored 176 runs in the third Test against South Africa, moved to second place. England’s captain Joe Root, who has been consistently performing throughout the season is currently at third place.

KL Rahul, who scored six fifties in the Test series against Australia, has gone up to 11th place and Ajinkya Rahane has moved to the 14th spot from the 17th place.

As far as the bowlers are concerned, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin retained their number one and two ranking, while speedster Umesh Yadav has moved up five places to the 21st spot.

Jadeja, who scored a fifty and took four wickets in the Dharamsala, has beaten Ashwin and moved to second place in the ICC Test rankings for all-rounders.
