Maharashtra and Haryana went to polls on Monday, 21 October, both states riddled with unemployment, job cuts in auto sector, water crisis, rural distress, and so on and so forth.

Both states are BJP ruled and for the Congress and opposition parties, these are the first elections after their dismal defeat in the 2019 General election. Will we be able to break out of the saffron fortress?
